The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) reaffirms our unwavering commitment to the continuity and timely execution of the Diriyah masterplan. To this end, we have begun the final procedures related to the Board approved compensation plan for landowners in the Alkhuzama, Alnakheel and Irqa neighborhoods, and according to the previously approved and communicated evacuation plan. 
 
We kindly request all landowners to complete the process by submitting any outstanding documentation relating to their individual compensation requests.

What are the expropriation procedures? 

According to the Expropriation System, the process involves six stages: 

  • Surveying Stage: This involves mapping the site, determining its terrain, and providing a detailed overview of the property's contents. 

  • Property Inventory Stage: A committee consisting of various government entities approves the survey results. 

  • Appraisal Stage: A committee of several government entities appraises the expropriated properties. 

  • Property Settlement Stage: The property owner settles accounts with service providers and obtains clearance. 

  • Property Transfer Stage: The property owner and a representative from the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) sign the property transfer document. 

  • Compensation Receipt Stage: The property owner receives the compensation amount from the notary public.
