2017
Royal Decree and UNESCO Activation
Established Diriyah by royal decree and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
2018
Royal Inauguration and Sponsorships
Hosted the inaugural Formula-E race and proudly sponsored an equestrian championship.
2019
World Championship and Early Completion
Hosted the World Heavyweight Championship match in Diriyah and completed the structure plan ahead of schedule in August 2019.
2020
G20 Summit and At-Turaif Opening
Hosted the G20 Summit at At-Turaif, celebrated the opening of At-Turaif, and transitioned to the DGDA offices.
2021
Noor Riyadh and Rawi Diriyah
Hosted Noor Riyadh at At-Turaif and launched the Rawi Diriyah initiative.
2022
WTTC Assembly and Major Developments in Diriyah
Hosted the first-ever Middle Eastern assembly of the prestigious World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) in Diriyah, celebrated the opening of Al Bujairi, and At-Turaif hosted FIFA World Cup events. Launched the "City of Earth" campaign and advanced Wadi Safar projects, including an 18-hole golf course, Experience Center, Tree Nursery, and more.
2023
World Heritage Summit and Cultural Milestones in Diriyah
Hosted the World Heritage Summit, launched the Diriyah Seasonal Market, and celebrated the opening ceremony of Bayt Al Ardah. Additionally, Diriyah held an Arts & Fashion event and introduced the Kingdom's first branded residences, the Ritz Carlton Residences.
2024
Bab Samhan Hotel and Future of Diriyah
Celebrated the opening of Bab Samhan Hotel and its associated training program, announced the relaunch of Diriyah Square, and introduced Diriyah Season 2024 along with the Diriyah Art Future initiative.
