Diriyah Gate Development Authority Participates as “Heritage Partner” at the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026
2 October 2026
Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) is set to participate in the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, taking place in Riyadh from 1 to 10 October 2026 under the theme “A Destination for All.” DGDA will participate under the title “A Legacy of Pride” as the exhibition’s “Heritage Partner,” highlighting the historical and cultural significance of the At-Turaif Historic District and showcasing aspects of Diriyah’s living heritage.
This year, DGDA’s participation will focus on the At-Turaif Historic District, which has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2010, as part of the exhibition’s annual initiative to introduce visitors to the Kingdom’s World Heritage Sites and highlight their historical and cultural significance. The participation reflects DGDA’s efforts to preserve and promote the historical and cultural heritage of Diriyah, the birthplace of the Saudi state. At-Turaif Historic District represents profound political significance and a living legacy, having served as the seat of governance of the First Saudi State.
The pavilion offers visitors an integrated experience, beginning with an introduction to Diriyah and the At-Turaif Historic District through digital and visual content that highlights the district’s architectural, cultural, and historical significance, as well as aspects of the history of the Imams of the First Saudi State and the values associated with their legacy.
The visitor journey concludes with an experience inspired by Saudi hospitality and Arabic calligraphy, extending the pavilion’s cultural narrative and reflecting the values and cultural expressions associated with Diriyah and its living heritage.
The Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition is the world’s largest exhibition of its kind dedicated to falconry, hunting, outdoor activities, and related equipment.
