Diriyah Gate Development Authority Named as One of The Top Workplaces in Asia for 2022

The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) has been recognized as one of the top workplaces in Asia according to “Best Large Workplaces in Asia” for 2022. The accolade comes on the heels of DGDA being ranked amongst the “Best Places to Work in KSA” in the large organization’s category in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.

This recognition was awarded by “Great Place to Work”, a global authority recognizing workplaces that exhibit work culture excellence. The list surveyed a total of 70 organizations within Asia, measuring key workplace benchmarks, including employee benefits, programs, and high-quality relationships characterized by trust and camaraderie.

Commenting on the achievement, Jerry Inzerillo, Group Chief Executive Officer of DGDA, said, “We at DGDA are extremely proud to receive this recognition that embodies our dedication to uplifting our valued team members. Our organization continues to emphasize the development of local human capital, with more than 85 percent of DGDA’s staff consisting of Saudi nationals, 14 percent of which are from Diriyah. With more than a third of our employees at DGDA being female and 16 percent of our leadership positions occupied by women, we will continue to facilitate the dynamic, collaborative work environment capable of transforming Diriyah into one of the premier cultural destinations worldwide.”

DGDA is tasked with preserving, celebrating, and developing the iconic landmark of Diriyah into a premier global tourist destination. This recognition echoes the work the organization is doing to continuously enhance its work culture and the local community. Since its establishment, the organization has made significant strides in developing a project that is home to the origin story of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its deep-rooted heritage, and a culture that is recognized globally as being welcoming and hospitable.

In line with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives of widening the domestic tourism scope within Saudi Arabia, Diriyah Gate Development Authority aims to attract over 30 million visitors annually by the end of the decade.
